Tesla Roadster UNVEILED - World's fastest car

TESLA unveiled the new Roadster at the Semi truck launch. The roadster promises huge electric car range of over 600 miles, unchallenged 0-60mph acceleration speeds and dynamic styling. Here is everything you need to know about the car's price, specs, performance, range, styling and release date.

Tesla had another surprise in store at the Semi Truck launch - the unveiling of the new Roadster.
Tesla Semi truck blew fans away with its incredible design, 500 miles of range and Bugatti Chiron beating drag efficiency.
However, Tesla also confirmed that it is making a Roadster 2.0.
It will also become the fastest production car ever made with a 0-60mph time of 1.9 seconds and 0-100 mph in 4.2 seconds.
The car will be able to travel a quarter mile drag strip in just 8.9 seconds.
A provisional top speed for the Roadster 2.0 is 250mph.
To put this is some sort of perspecitve, the current world's fastest car has a top speed of 277.7mph.
This top speed beats cars such as the Koenigsegg CCR, McLaren F1 and the Ferrari LaFerrari.
Powering the Roadster will be a 200kWh battery which will allow range of 620 miles.
The vehicle has three separate motors - one powering the front wheels and two powering the rear. It will be all wheel drive and will have torque steering.
    This is truly groundbreaking.
“The point of doing this is to give a hardcore smackdown to gasoline vehicles,” said Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla.
“Driving a gasoline sports car is going to feel like a steam engine with a side of quiche.”
Its design is sharp and sleek and features all-new design language for the Californian car manufacturer.
The Roadster has a tapered nose which rounds off to the sides like the Model 3 and no grille much like the aforementioned car.
It features an all-glass roof which stretches from the windscreen up to the join when there convertible roof lives.
The car has a 2+ 2 set-up which means that it can accommodate four passengers, although it is pretty tight in the back confesses Musk.
Prices for the Roadster will start at $200,000 which, when compared to current supercars with specs like these, is a bit of a steal.
The Roadster 2.0 will be available from 2020.
